Teach Nature. SCOE & WESC Partner on The NorCal Environmental Literacy Synthesis Project

Do you long to teach in the outdoors?

Shasta County Office of Education (SCOE) has announced a new K-6 teacher-leaders program open to thirty-one Northern California counties. The NorCal Environmental Literacy Synthesis Project is co-funded by the California Department of Education and The California Regional Environmental Education Community (CREEC). The grant is open to K-6 education leaders with an interest in learning and disseminating environmental education.

This grant is open to TK-6 teachers, environmental education providers from museums, nature centers, parks, etc., and also expanded learning educator-leaders in a supervisorial role rather than front-line teaching staff.

SCOE is leading this project that covers Regions 1, 2, 3, and 4 (thirty-one counties). You can find additional information at: https://sites.google.com/shastacoe.org/els/home
